JEE Mains - Entrance examination


Hon'ble Minister of Education, Government of India, Shri Dr.Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank interacted with the #students of Kendriya Vidyalaya today. During the event, Shri Dr.Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank answered various questions posed by the KV #students on #board exams, #mentalhealth, #COVID19, etc. He also lauded them and the #teachers for facing the #COVID crisis with grit and determination and converting challenges into opportunities. Hon'ble Minister of Education further explained about the inclusion of mother tongue in the schools and vocation education along with the provision of internships. He asked for the feedback of students and teachers on the National Education Policy. Shri Dr.Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank also praised the performance of Kendriya Vidyalayas & said that the govt will ensure that the #education policies of Kendriya Vidyalayas are replicated at the grassroot level.  Considering the decision taken for IIT JEE (Advanced) and in line with the decision taken for the last academic year, it has been decided to waive off the 75% marks (in class 12 exam) eligibility criteria under Joint Entrance Examination (Main) for the next academic year 2021-2022 in respect of NITs, IIITs, SPAs and other CFTIs, whose admissions are based on JEE (Main).
